The work Dunes, Barra by Perpetua Pope was auctioned at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 1,211.25 (€ 1,435.00), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Perpetua Pope; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Summer, Barra sold at auction in March 2004 with the realized price of GBP 1,673.00 (€ 2,504.33).
