Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ruelle à Hydra by Pericles Byzantios was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in May last year. The price achieved of EUR 2,295.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pericles Byzantios achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek A Horse-Drawn Carriage in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 34,100.00 (€ 43,472.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ruelle à Hydra von Pericles Byzantios kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.295,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pericles Byzantios erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek A Horse-Drawn Carriage im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.100,00 (€ 43.472,68).
