Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Greek best Friends Forever by Périclès Pantazis was sold in the European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in November 2011. The price achieved of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,051.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Périclès Pantazis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Pears, Apples And Quinces in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 66,000.00 (€ 97,123.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Greek best Friends Forever von Périclès Pantazis wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion European Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.051,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Périclès Pantazis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life With Pears, Apples And Quinces im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 66.000,00 (€ 97.123,47).
