Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Greek After The Snowfall by Périclès Pantazis. The price achieved of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 40,765.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Périclès Pantazis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With Pears, Apples And Quinces, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 66,000.00 (€ 97,123.47).
