Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A River Landscape by Périclès Pantazis was sold in the British & Continental Pictures including Greek Art auction at Sothebys in Olympia in May 2007. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,710.35) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Périclès Pantazis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Pears, Apples And Quinces in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 66,000.00 (€ 97,123.47).

Die Arbeit A River Landscape von Périclès Pantazis wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion British & Continental Pictures including Greek Art bei Sothebys in Olympia versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.710,35) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Périclès Pantazis erzielen.
