Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Greek Mountain Village; The Rustic House: A Pair by Pericles Lytras. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 7,001.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pericles Lytras - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek summer Path, which sold at auction in December 2015 for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,125.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Greek Mountain Village; The Rustic House: A Pair von Pericles Lytras zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 7.001,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pericles Lytras mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Greek summer Path beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 16.125,68) versteigert wurde.
