Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Autumn by the water by Per Julius was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 6,000.00 (€ 684.88). Other works by Per Julius have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2012 by the work Winter landscape from the north of Sweden at SEK 12,000.00 (€ 1,369.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Autumn by the water von Per Julius im Juni 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 6.000,00 (€ 684,88) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Per Julius wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2012 die Arbeit Winter landscape from the north of Sweden mit SEK 12.000,00 (€ 1.369,75).
