Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work A female figure looking upwards, her hands joined in prayer by Pellegrino Tibaldi for GBP 9,450.00 (€ 11,082.08). This price was achieved in the auction A Fine Line: Master Works on Paper from Five Centuries at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Pellegrino Tibaldi have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2003 by the work Entwurf zu einem Grabmal at EUR 11,500.00.

Im Juli 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A female figure looking upwards, her hands joined in prayer von Pellegrino Tibaldi für GBP 9.450,00 (€ 11.082,08) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion A Fine Line: Master Works on Paper from Five Centuries bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Pellegrino Tibaldi wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2003 die Arbeit Entwurf zu einem Grabmal mit EUR 11.500,00.
