Despite a disappointment, a good price for Pegi Nicol MacLeod
This work of art by Pegi Nicol MacLeod could be acquired at Sothebys in Toronto in May 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Canadian Art auction, the work Babies changed hands for CAD 9,000.00 (€ 6,462.02) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of CAD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Babies is the most expensive artwork by Pegi Nicol MacLeod that we have observed at auction so far.
