Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pedro Friedeberg could be acquired at Christies in New York in November 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Art Online auction, the work Silla de cien manos changed hands for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,303.58) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pedro Friedeberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vision y presagio del profeta Habakkuk in May last year with an auction result of USD 69,300.00 (€ 64,579.26).
