A top price for Susan Beatrice Pearse
In April 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Original Illustration Art from the Collections of Kendra and Allan Daniel, which included the work Shut-I Town by Susan Beatrice Pearse. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,000.00 (€ 2,698.87), 33% above the upper estimate. With this result, Shut-I Town is even the most expensive work of art by Susan Beatrice Pearse that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Original Illustration Art from the Collections of Kendra and Allan Daniel durch, in der auch die Arbeit Shut-I Town von Susan Beatrice Pearse zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 2.698,87) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Shut-I Town sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Susan Beatrice Pearse, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
