A top price for Pavel Wolberg - as previously expected
The work Bnei Brak by Pavel Wolberg was sold in the Israeli & International Art auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2016. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,884.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Bnei Brak is the most expensive artwork by Pavel Wolberg that we have observed at auctions so far.
