This artwork by Paule Vézelay achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2011. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work Six Forms on a White Ground sold for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,607.77) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paule Vézelay - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Two Red Forms, which sold at auction in March last year for GBP 32,760.00 (€ 38,840.67).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Paule Vézelay erzielte im März 2011 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century British Art wurde die Arbeit Six Forms on a White Ground für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.607,77) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Paule Vézelay mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Two Red Forms beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für GBP 32.760,00 (€ 38.840,67) versteigert wurde.
