The work Lilies, carnations and a poppy in a basket with grapes, plums, gooseberries, a melon and other fruit on a stone ledge by Paul Theodor van Brussel was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2002. The price achieved of GBP 26,290.00 (€ 42,536.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Theodor van Brussel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life Of Flowers And Fruits On A Marble Ledge in June 2012 with an auction result of USD 374,500.00 (€ 295,626.78).

Die Arbeit Lilies, carnations and a poppy in a basket with grapes, plums, gooseberries, a melon and other fruit on a stone ledge von Paul Theodor van Brussel kam im April 2002 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 26.290,00 (€ 42.536,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden.
