In November last year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Substance 219 by Paul Rotterdam. The result of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,421.78) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 5,500.00. Other works by Paul Rotterdam have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2016 the work Substance 491. 1986. was auctioned for CHF 4,125.00 (€ 3,847.45).

Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Substance 219 von Paul Rotterdam zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.421,78) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.500,00 – 5.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Paul Rotterdam konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2016 die Arbeit Substance 491. 1986. für CHF 4.125,00 (€ 3.847,45) versteigert.
