Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hommage A Courbet N°6 - 1993 by Paul Rebeyrolle was sold in the Opening Sale 1945-Now auction at Artcurial in Paris in March 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 16,200.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Paul Rebeyrolle have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fumée (On Dit Qu'Ils Ont La Rage) Titled On The Strecher Fumée (On Dit Qu'Ils Ont La Rage); Oil On Canvas. Executed In 1985. in September 2012 with an auction result of EUR 102,750.00.

Die Arbeit Hommage A Courbet N°6 - 1993 von Paul Rebeyrolle wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Opening Sale 1945-Now bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 16.200,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Rebeyrolle auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fumée (On Dit Qu'Ils Ont La Rage) Titled On The Strecher Fumée (On Dit Qu'Ils Ont La Rage); Oil On Canvas.
