In August last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Modern Native American Art, which included the work Unknown by Paul Pletka. The »bidding war« ended at USD 535.50 (€ 532.04), 34% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Pletka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grass Dance Of The Omaha Society in October 2017 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 27,901.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 34 % übertroffen
Im August letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Modern Native American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unknown von Paul Pletka zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 535,50 (€ 532,04) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Pletka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grass Dance Of The Omaha Society im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 27.901,79).
