Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art, which included the work A caravan in the desert by Paul Pascal. The price achieved of GBP 812.50 (€ 1,012.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Pascal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Oasis At Night in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 3,840.00 (€ 5,691.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A caravan in the desert von Paul Pascal zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 812,50 (€ 1.012,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Pascal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An Oasis At Night im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.840,00 (€ 5.691,12).
