In the Refining Taste: Works Selected by Danny Katz auction, the work A) The Artist'S Studio B) Blowing Bubbles C) Head Over Heels D) Amourous Reflections sold for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,651.65) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Paul-Marc-Joseph Chenavard; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A) Amourous Reflections B) Ménage À Trois C) An Intimate Encounter D) An Amourous Entanglement sold at auction in May 2020 with the realized price of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,039.29).
