Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Paul Mansouroff was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,267.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Mansouroff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 86,500.00 (€ 108,077.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition von Paul Mansouroff kam im Juni 2009 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.267,83) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Mansouroff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 86.500,00 (€ 108.077,61).
