Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Going shopping, Biot, France by Paul Gunn for GBP 117.50 (€ 168.70). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Gunn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work St. Katherine'S Marina; And Barges And The Dickens Inn, St. Katherine'S, which sold at auction in October 2004 for GBP 334.60 (€ 481.58).
