Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2012 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings & Drawings, 19th Century Sculptures, which included the work Scène Galante Devant Les Invalides by Paul Grégoire. The price achieved of EUR 227.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Grégoire achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vue Du Pont Du Gardpaul Grégoire ; View Of The Pont Du Gard ; Located, Signed And Bears A Date Lower Right ; Oil On Original Canvas in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 39,150.00.

Im Juni 2012 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings & Drawings, 19th Century Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scène Galante Devant Les Invalides von Paul Grégoire zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 227,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Grégoire erzielen.
