Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Television Portrait (Cathy, London 1990) - 1992 by Paul Graham was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art II auction at Artcurial in Paris in December 2018. The price achieved of EUR 5,460.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Graham - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Man Exposing Torso, American Night #42 -, which sold at auction in October 2017 for EUR 19,500.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.460,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Graham mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Man Exposing Torso, American Night #42 - beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für EUR 19.500,00 versteigert wurde.
