Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Shepherds making way on a country track by Paul Flickel for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,336.17). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Flickel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The rocky coastline, which sold at auction in June 2008 for EUR 7,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Shepherds making way on a country track von Paul Flickel für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.336,17) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Flickel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The rocky coastline beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für EUR 7.500,00 versteigert wurde.
