Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Movement II 40.8 x 40.8 cm. (16 x 16 in.) by Paul Feiler. The price achieved of GBP 14,025.00 (€ 16,251.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Feiler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Porthcadjack, blue & black in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 157,250.00 (€ 198,769.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Movement II 40.8 x 40.8 cm. (16 x 16 in.) von Paul Feiler zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 14.025,00 (€ 16.251,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Feiler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Porthcadjack, blue & black im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 157.250,00 (€ 198.769,27).
