Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Artcurial held the auction Orientalism, which included the work Vue De Sidi Bou Said Et Du Djebel Bou Kornine by Paul Elie Dubois. The price achieved of EUR 4,550.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Elie Dubois achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Joueur De Flûte in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 48,450.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Artcurial die Auktion Orientalism durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vue De Sidi Bou Said Et Du Djebel Bou Kornine von Paul Elie Dubois zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.550,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Elie Dubois erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Joueur De Flûte im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 48.450,00.
