Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2004 Christies in Sydney held the auction THE JOHN SCHAEFFER COLLECTION AT RONA, which included the work Le Courage Militaire by Paul Dubois. It changed hands for a price of AUD 5,975.00 (€ 3,491.00) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of AUD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Paul Dubois have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2019 the work La Charité was auctioned for EUR 6,500.00.

Im Mai 2004 führte Christies in Sydney die Auktion THE JOHN SCHAEFFER COLLECTION AT RONA durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Courage Militaire von Paul Dubois zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von AUD 5.975,00 (€ 3.491,00) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von AUD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Paul Dubois konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2019 die Arbeit La Charité für EUR 6.500,00 versteigert.
