Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Lavandiere sur le chemin, Loire unframed by Paul Désiré Trouillebert. The price achieved of GBP 4,462.50 (€ 5,290.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,500.00 – 5,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Désiré Trouillebert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le faucheur et un rameur sur la rivière. in October 2021 with an auction result of CHF 67,400.00 (€ 63,660.09).

Im März letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lavandiere sur le chemin, Loire unframed von Paul Désiré Trouillebert zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.462,50 (€ 5.290,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.500,00 – 5.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Désiré Trouillebert erzielen.
