Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Selected Images by Paul Caponigro was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in February this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,040.00 (€ 4,753.82). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Caponigro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work West Hartford, Connecticut, which sold at auction in June 2010 for USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,187.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Selected Images von Paul Caponigro kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.040,00 (€ 4.753,82) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Caponigro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit West Hartford, Connecticut beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für USD 13.750,00 (€ 11.187,05) versteigert wurde.
