Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Space Exploration, which included the work Artist'S Proof Of Calle'S "First Man On The Moon" by Paul Calle. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,415.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Calle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Carrying Place, which sold at auction in November 2018 for USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,351.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Space Exploration durch, in der auch die Arbeit Artist'S Proof Of Calle'S "First Man On The Moon" von Paul Calle zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.415,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Calle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Carrying Place beobachtet, die im November 2018 für USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.351,32) versteigert wurde.
