Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Birch trees by a stream in summer by Paul Bodifée was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2003. The price achieved of EUR 1,195.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Bodifée - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Overijselse boerenwoning in de sneeuw; trees along a canal, which sold at auction in March 2002 for EUR 3,290.00.

Die Arbeit Birch trees by a stream in summer von Paul Bodifée kam im Juli 2003 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.195,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Bodifée mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Overijselse boerenwoning in de sneeuw; trees along a canal beobachtet, die im März 2002 für EUR 3.290,00 versteigert wurde.
