Auction result fails to reach estimate
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of Inger Trolle (1876–1923) by Paul Bang for DKK 1,000.00 (€ 133.99). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Bang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A circular silver dish with lightly hammered surface, which sold at auction in May this year for DKK 2,500.00 (€ 335.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait of Inger Trolle (1876–1923) von Paul Bang für DKK 1.000,00 (€ 133,99) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Bang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A circular silver dish with lightly hammered surface beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für DKK 2.500,00 (€ 335,55) versteigert wurde.
