Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sunrise over the sea by Patrick von Kalckreuth was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in February 2004. The price achieved of EUR 1,195.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Patrick von Kalckreuth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seestück in September 2017 with an auction result of EUR 4,960.00.

Die Arbeit Sunrise over the sea von Patrick von Kalckreuth wurde im Februar 2004 in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.195,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Patrick von Kalckreuth auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seestück im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.960,00.
