In November 2018 Christies in London held the auction Modern/British & Irish Art, which included the work Students at Yale by Patrick Procktor. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,229.89), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick Procktor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Flowers In A Jug, On A Table Top in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 51,394.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im November 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern/British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Students at Yale von Patrick Procktor zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.229,89) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrick Procktor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Flowers In A Jug, On A Table Top im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 51.394,98).
