In October last year Christies in London held the auction Modern British & Irish Art Day Sale, which included the work Don'T Sit Under The Tree by Patrick Procktor. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 21,420.00 (€ 24,954.06), 43% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Patrick Procktor - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With Flowers In A Jug, On A Table Top, which sold at auction in March 2021 for GBP 43,750.00 (€ 51,394.98).

Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British & Irish Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Don'T Sit Under The Tree von Patrick Procktor zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 21.420,00 (€ 24.954,06) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Patrick Procktor mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life With Flowers In A Jug, On A Table Top beobachtet, die im März 2021 für GBP 43.750,00 (€ 51.394,98) versteigert wurde.
