Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Still Life with Flowers by Patrick Henry Bruce for USD 27,400.00 (€ 17,336.29). This price was achieved in the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick Henry Bruce achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture/Nature Morte in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 1,932,500.00 (€ 1,706,703.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still Life with Flowers von Patrick Henry Bruce für USD 27.400,00 (€ 17.336,29) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrick Henry Bruce erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture/Nature Morte im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.932.500,00 (€ 1.706.703,17).
