Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The embracement by Pat Andrea was sold in the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2006. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,320.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pat Andrea achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tajine, (Diptyque), 1990 in December 2012 with an auction result of EUR 21,880.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The embracement von Pat Andrea wurde im September 2006 in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.320,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pat Andrea erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tajine, (Diptyque), 1990 im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.880,00.
