In May this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction American Art, which included the work Rocky Coast of Maine by Pasquale Santo. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,048.00 (€ 1,922.28), 37% above the upper estimate. Other works by Pasquale Santo have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 3,200.00 (€ 3,003.57) in May this year for the work Watching the Grosbeaks.
