Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work A Couple By A Stream by Pasquale Santo for USD 640.00 (€ 605.60). This price was achieved in the auction WeeklyHome | Bonhams Skinner at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Pasquale Santo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Watching the Grosbeaks in May this year with an auction result of USD 3,200.00 (€ 3,003.57).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Couple By A Stream von Pasquale Santo für USD 640,00 (€ 605,60) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion WeeklyHome | Bonhams Skinner bei Bonhams in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pasquale Santo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Watching the Grosbeaks im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.200,00 (€ 3.003,57).
