This artwork by Pascale Marthine Tayou achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in November 2021. In the Sale to Benefit Écoles du Monde auction, the work Kids Mascarade - 2019 sold for EUR 2,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,001.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pascale Marthine Tayou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chalks and pins U, 2012 in May last year with an auction result of EUR 88,575.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pascale Marthine Tayou erzielte im November 2021 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Sale to Benefit Écoles du Monde wurde die Arbeit Kids Mascarade - 2019 für EUR 2.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.001,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pascale Marthine Tayou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chalks and pins U, 2012 im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 88.575,00.
