Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre II, 1997 by Pascale Marthine Tayou was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in June 2021. The price achieved of EUR 3,388.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 4,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pascale Marthine Tayou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chalks and pins U, 2012 in May last year with an auction result of EUR 88,575.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre II, 1997 von Pascale Marthine Tayou kam im Juni 2021 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.388,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 4.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pascale Marthine Tayou erzielen.
