This work without title by Parviz Kalantari was sold in the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in April 2008. The »bidding war« ended at USD 49,000.00 (€ 31,474.82), 23% above the upper estimate. Other works by Parviz Kalantari have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 43,750.00 (€ 39,621.45) in October 2015 for the work Oasis.
