In March 2002 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Hayricks before a castle at sunset by Parker Hagarty. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 293.75 (€ 480.20), 47% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Parker Hagarty achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grief in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 5,400.00 (€ 8,020.25).

Im März 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hayricks before a castle at sunset von Parker Hagarty zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 293,75 (€ 480,20) und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Parker Hagarty erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grief im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.400,00 (€ 8.020,25).
