This artwork by Park Sung Tae achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. In the 20th Century Chinese Art & Asian Contemporary Art auction, the work Scampers III sold for HKD 180,000.00 (€ 18,744.84) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Park Sung Tae; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Scampers sold at auction in November 2005 with the realized price of HKD 264,000.00 (€ 28,885.50).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Park Sung Tae erzielte im Mai 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art & Asian Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Scampers III für HKD 180.000,00 (€ 18.744,84) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 90.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Park Sung Tae; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Scampers im November 2005 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 264.000,00 (€ 28.885,50).
