A top price for Park Kwang Sung - as previously expected
In November 2012 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work To Have and To Be by Park Kwang Sung. It changed hands for a price of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 24,788.62) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 160,000.00 – 260,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, To Have and To Be is the most expensive artwork by Park Kwang Sung that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2012 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit To Have and To Be von Park Kwang Sung zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 24.788,62) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 160.000,00 – 260.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist To Have and To Be das teuerste Kunstwerk von Park Kwang Sung, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
