Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Paolo Monti could be acquired at Il Ponte in April 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work Chimigramma 1961 changed hands for EUR 1,300.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,400.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Paolo Monti have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in December 2012 by the work Mariel, Anzola d’Ossola + Ambrosoli. at EUR 2,322.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Paolo Monti konnte im April 2018 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs wechselte die Arbeit Chimigramma 1961 für EUR 1.300,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.400,00 – 1.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Paolo Monti wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Dezember 2012 die Arbeit Mariel, Anzola d’Ossola + Ambrosoli. mit EUR 2.322,00.
