Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 34,850.00 (€ 40,425.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paolo Anesi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Anzio, A View Of The Port With The Villa Corsini And The Villa Albani in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 196,177.99).
