Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Paolo Anesi could be acquired at Christies in London in March 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & British Paintings auction, the work A classical river landscape with travellers and washerwomen amongst ruins; and A mountainous river landscape with travellers changed hands for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,183.89) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paolo Anesi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Anzio, A View Of The Port With The Villa Corsini And The Villa Albani in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 196,177.99).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paolo Anesi konnte im März 2017 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings wechselte die Arbeit A classical river landscape with travellers and washerwomen amongst ruins; and A mountainous river landscape with travellers für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.183,89) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paolo Anesi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Anzio, A View Of The Port With The Villa Corsini And The Villa Albani im Januar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 212.500,00 (€ 196.177,99).
