Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A capriccio view of the Tiber with the Ponte Sisto; and A capriccio with a palazzo by a river by Paolo Anesi was sold in the Old Master Pictures auction at Christies in London in December 2005. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 36,000.00 (€ 52,251.98). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paolo Anesi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Anzio, A View Of The Port With The Villa Corsini And The Villa Albani, which sold at auction in January 2016 for USD 212,500.00 (€ 196,177.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A capriccio view of the Tiber with the Ponte Sisto; and A capriccio with a palazzo by a river von Paolo Anesi wurde im Dezember 2005 in der Auktion Old Master Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 36.000,00 (€ 52.251,98) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Paolo Anesi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Anzio, A View Of The Port With The Villa Corsini And The Villa Albani beobachtet, die im Januar 2016 für USD 212.500,00 (€ 196.177,99) versteigert wurde.
