Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Quick Impression by Pang Jiun was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May last year. The price achieved of HKD 163,800.00 (€ 19,446.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pang Jiun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Monet’S Garden in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 7,375,000.00 (€ 808,030.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Quick Impression von Pang Jiun kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 163.800,00 (€ 19.446,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pang Jiun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Monet’S Garden im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.375.000,00 (€ 808.030,41).
